PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - A resident of Ponte Vedra Beach has been arrested and accused of molesting two juveniles while he worked with a charity some time ago. 51 year-old Gregory Somers was arrested Monday on two felony charges of lewd/lascivious molestation of a victim younger than 12.

Somers reportedly encountered the two victims, both now teenage girls, through a charity he worked at in the range of 2013 to 2015. Both girls accused Somers of molesting them in that timeframe, and the Volusia Sheriff's Office has stated they believe more victims may exist.

The VSO has also confirmed that the alleged acts occurred while Somers worked with the Catholic Charities of Central Florida., a Melbourne-based family services program. Somers did volunteer work for the group, as well as financial advisement.

As of Thursday Somers remains at the Volusia County Branch Jail with no bond. Those who may have information about additional victimization from Somers are asked to contact the VSO's Child Exploitation Unit at (386) 323-3574.
