Edgewater, FL - The Edgewater Police Department is investigating a burglary that left an Edgewater mother without her car and credit cards and her 4-year-old son without his piggy bank.
On Tuesday, Beth Keller reported waking up to find her dark blue 2016 Jeep Compass with a Daytona State College decal and a nurse license plate frame, purse, several wallets and her child's piggy bank missing from her home on Kumquat Drive.
The burglar removed the screen from one of Keller's windows and entered her house after they forced the window open.
Edgewater Police believe that this incident is connected to 6 other car burglaries that happened over the holiday in the Florida Shores neighborhood.
If you know anything about the burglaries, police ask that you call 386-424-2000.
