Police Arrest 16 Year-Old in Connection to Stolen SUV with Toddler Inside

HOLLY HILL, Fla. - Police have arrested a 16 year-old in connection to a scary car theft last week. According to the Holly Hill Police Department, they're close to positively identifying the driver who made off with an SUV with a toddler inside.

The identity of the teenager is not yet known, but police say they believe they're the one who stole a family's SUV while a 3 year-old was still inside.

As of now police say the SUV has been recovered, following a days-long search. The toddler was recovered some 30 minutes after the vehicle was stolen; a good samaritan found him left on the side of the road and called 911 immediately.

The teen has been charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, and police are now working to confirm that they were the individual photographed in the driver's seat shortly after the theft occurred.
