New Smyrna Beach, FL - The city of New Smyrna Beach's Annual Senior Holiday's Luncheon will be done differently this year, just like most everything else in 2020. Rather than have a gathering, 100 seniors will have a scrumptious meal safely placed in the trunk or back seat along with a gift bag at this year's drive-thru Annual Senior Christmas Luncheon. It takes place in the Alonzo "Babe" James Community Center parking lot at 201 N. Myrtle Ave. on Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Community Resources Coordinator Irma Terry says the deadline to RSVP for a meal is December 13. Here are the menu choices: turkey or baked chicken to compliment yellow rice, green beans, macaroni & cheese, a dinner roll, choice of soft drink, and dessert.
RSVP to receive one of 100 meals before Dec. 13 with Community Resources Coordinator Irma Terry at iterry@cityofnsb.com or (386) 314-4849. Recipients must be 55 or over, remain in their vehicles, and wear a mask in accordance with CDC guidelines. If you do not have access to a vehicle, please let us know so we can provide alternate, walk-up accommodation.
