Edgewater, FL - A man wanted in an explosion/domestic dispute that took place last Friday (December 14th), is in custody.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office reports that 36-year-old
Troy Phoenix was taken into custody today (December 19th) in Edgewater.
Phoenix threatened to blow up the house and everyone in it during a verbal dispute with family.
Volusia County Sheriff's deputies and members of the Bomb Squad spent the better part of Friday afternoon at a home on Beehive Drive after receiving a 911 call about a loud explosion. Phoenix reportedly lit a pipe bomb, then threw in the yard from the house.
VCSO had been looking for Phoenix since Friday. At this time, there's no word on how he was found in Edgewater.
