Palm Coast, FL - A 41-year-old Palm Coast man who only just showed up on local law enforcement's radar, is arrested for the second time in five days on the same charge - burglary. Flagler County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin Aldrich on Saturday (July 27) after responding to a residential burglary on Louisiana Drive in the Palm Coast "L" section after neighbors reported the sound of glass shattering.

Deputies arrived to find a red 2007 Dodge Nitro parked in the home's driveway. While deputies were busy clearing the residence, they observed a white male, later identified as Aldrich, getting into the car in the driveway. They commanded to stop and step away from the vehicle. He ignored them, got in the vehicle and drove away.

The vehicle's tag was entered into the License Plate Reader system and a short time later, it was located at Palm Coast Parkway. The Flagler County Emergency Fire Flight helicopter was sent up and found the vehicle at the Palm Coast Post Office, as Aldrich exited the vehicle. Officers quickly converged and placed Aldrich under arrest.

“'See something, say something’ and advanced technology helped us get this repeat offender off the streets and back in jail where he belongs,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Neighbors heard something suspicious and instead of ignoring it, they called us. I am thankful that our deputies were able to arrest

Deputies at the residence on Louisiana Drive found forced entry and broken glass at the door of the home. Aldrich was transported to AdventHealth due to injuries he received during the break-in after being arrested. He was treated and then taken to the Flagler County Jail.

Further investigation revealed that Aldrich was arrested just five days prior, on July 22, in Volusia County for felony charges of Burglary and Grand Theft. This arrest, Aldrich is charged with Burglary of a Dwelling, Fleeing and Eluding and Resisting Arrest without Violence. His bond is set at $25,000 and he remains in the Flagler County Jail.
