
Daytona Beach, FL - A man and a woman escape a house fire before the man ends up in Daytona Beach police's custody.
Sasha Staton, spokesperson for the Daytona Beach Fire Department, says crews responded to a structure fire at 602 Cassin Avenue earlier tonight (December 23rd).
There is where responders found a male and female occupant who was able to get out of the house without any injuries.

According to Staton, the male is suspected to have started the fire and is now in the custody of the Daytona Beach Police Department. They say as of right now it's unknown why he started the fire.
Staton also says 75% of the house has been burned and is completely unlivable now.
The State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate the property for possible arson.
