Daytona Beach, FL-The Daytona Beach Fire Department was on the scene of a boat fire Wednesday afternoon. They were dispatched to the Seabreeze boat ramp on the east side of the Halifax River at 1:55 p.m. after residents of some nearby apartments contacted 9-1-1.
The 20-foot Sun Bird boat caught fire shortly after an adult male and female started up the boat. They were able to jump off the boat without injury. Firefighters were able to put out the blaze. The cause is under investigation.
