282 passengers had to be evacuated from a Delta Airlines flight on Monday after it caught fire at the Orlando International Airport. Delta Flight 1213 was slated to travel to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The plane was sitting on the tarmac when one of its two engines appeared to burst into flames. The plane was at full capacity, with 282 passengers plus ten flight attendants and two pilots. After the fire started, inflatable slides were deployed and the occupants evacuated to the safety of the ground.
