Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort Undergoes $25 Million Renovation

Daytona Beach, FL - The Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort is undergoing a $25 million renovation with significant interior and exterior updates. Renovations to the property at 100 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, began in 2016 and are expected to be completed this April. The project includes extensive enhancements to the resort's main entrance, lobby, dining room, entertainment venues, pools, cabanas, common areas, meeting and special event spaces. The resort, located across the street from the Ocean Center convention complex, has 60,000 square feet of meeting space, which is being updated with new wall coverings, carpet and high-end light fixtures. "The renovation is a transformative endeavor for our property and reflects our commitment to provide the best service and experience for our guests," said Jim Berkley, general manager of Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. "Our goal is to create a true resort environment where guests can unwind, and we look forward to showcasing our newly redesigned spaces and upscale amenities to locals and visitors alike." New York-based Orange County Choppers has been commissioned to build a custom handcrafted motorcycle to be displayed in the renovated lobby area. The Clocktower Lounge is being renamed "McCoy's Rum Room."  The name and concept pay homage to the story of Bill McCoy, a Prohibition-era rum runner. "This is a period of rebirth for our property, and guests can expect an even higher level of comfort as a result of the renovation," Berkley added. "We take pride inn our rich Daytona Beach history, and these latest updates celebrate that, while allowing us to evolve the quintessential beachfront experience we offer all under one roof."
