Bunnell, FL - A former summer camp counselor is in the Flagler County Jail. Flagler County Sheriff's deputies arrested 35-year-old Dontia Deone Mobley, AKA "Dante," this morning in Bunnell.
FCSO was alerted to a delayed report of a sex offense in May of 2018. The incident took place at a Boys and Girls Club in Flagler County between May of 2011 and August of 2012. The reporting person said Mobley molested a camp attendee on multiple occasions during that time. The child is reported to have been between 8 and 9 years of age at the time.
Detective Nicole Quintieri part of the Major Case Unit, is working this case. During her investigation, she interviewed Mobley who confirmed working at the Boys and Girls Club during that time. He eventually provided a confession.
The warrant for Mobley's arrest was issued this morning. He was arrested near his home on S. State St. in Bunnell at 10:40 a.m. Mobley is charged with Lewd and Lascivious Molestation on a victim under the age of 12.
