Daytona Beach, FL – Florida Hospital Medical Memorial Center (FHMMC) has earned its way onto the 2017 Becker's Hospital Review's list of 100 great community hospitals.
The annual list honors 100 hospitals for their quality, patient satisfaction, and overall excellence. The hospitals included were chosen based off awards they have won, their rankings, certifications, reputation, leadership and innovation. Many of these hospitals are landmark hospitals in their areas, offer unique health initiatives and employ many people in their communities.
FHMMC is the only hospital in Volusia and Flagler Counties to be included in the list, and one of only two hospitals in the entire state to receive the honor. The other hospital in Florida that made the list is in Pensacola.
Becker's Hospital Review is a monthly publication for hospital leaders about the best medical, legal and business practices as well news about hospitals and health systems.
