Early Voting Over In Volusia And Flagler Counties

Daytona Beach, FL - Early voting totals are in for the August 18, 2020 primary election. Total turnout in Volusia County is a little under 20 percent.  Flagler voters did a little better with a bit under 23 percent.

In Volusia County, of 383,807 active voters, 10,327 ballots were cast in early voting. Mail-in ballots are still coming in but as today (August 15) at 7 p.m., 66,159 mail-in ballots have been received.  

In Flagler County, of 88,806 active voters, 5,546 ballots were cast in early voting. The mail-in ballot count as of this evening is 14,798.

If you still have your mail-in ballot, Volusia County Elections Supervisor Lisa Lewis said it's probably too late to mail it. To make sure your vote counts, you'll either have to take your ballot to the Elections Office in DeLand, located at 1750 South Woodland Boulevard  or vote in person on Tuesday at your assigned polling place.

The Elections Office in Flagler County is located in Bunnell at 1769 E. Moody Boulevard, Building 2, Suite 101.
