Daytona Beach, FL - Effective immediately,  all vendors licensed to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises who get more than 50 percent of their gross revenue from that sale, shall suspend those sales. That's according to a document filed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

These businesses are still allowed to sell alcoholic beverages in sealed containers for consumption off-premises.

Restaurants that sell alcohol but derive 50 percent or less of their gross revenue from that sale will still be able to operate for on-premises consumption of food and beverages at tables as long as they stay compliant with the restrictions in Executive Order 20-139.
