Deltona, FL - A Deltona man ends up in custody for having child porn at his home.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office arrested 30-year-old Charles E. Price yesterday (February 26th) at his residence on East Waco Drive, the same day detectives got the warrant signed.
VCSO spokesperson Laura Williams says Price had photos of girls between 4 and 10 years old in sexual situations.
"Detectives with the VCSO’s Child Exploitation Unit began investigating Price in December 2018," Williams added. "On January 24th (2019), a search warrant was executed at his residence. Detectives seized multiple electronic items for forensic examination and interviewed Price."
As of this morning, Price is held on $70,000 bond at Volusia County Jail on seven counts of possessing sexually explicit photos of a child. It's not clear when Price will make his first court appearance.
Volusia County court records show Price was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession by VCSO in January 2013. He was released from VCJ after a fine and time served.
