DELTONA, Fla. - The City of Deltona will be hosting its Eggstravaganza egg hunt event on April 1st ahead of the Easter holiday. The gathering will be an opportunity for families to get out of the house and spend quality time together in their community.

Over 40,000 eggs are slated to be hidden at the Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, at 1200 Saxon Blvd in Deltona. The event will be kicking off at 10:00 am, and families are urged to arrive on time.

Four different hunts will be taking place: one for special needs children, and one each for ages three and under, four to seven, and eight to eleven. Parents are encouraged to assist in the special needs and three and under hunts.

As in past renditions of the hunt, the event is entirely free of charge. Also on-site will be free entertainment such as a face painter, caricature artist, bounce house, and live DJ.
