DeLand Police Asking Public's Help In Finding Gas Station Robber

DeLand, FL - DeLand Police are looking for a male suspect they say brandished a firearm and demanded money Saturday afternoon. The incident happened at the MyFuel gas station at the corner of South Woodland Boulevard and Voorhis Avenue on Saturday (February 15) afternoon.

Officers responded to the gas station at 5:40 p.m. The clerks say that he showed the firearm, demanding money from one of them. He then fled on foot towards West Walts Avenue.

Witnesses described the suspect as a black male wearing a red and black plaid shirt and dark pants.

A perimeter was set up around the area but officers were unable to locate the suspect.
