Daytona Beach, FL– Daytona State College (DSC) is set to hold a free and easy, one-day enrollment and registration session in June.
From 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, June 3, prospective and returning students can do everything needed to start the new semesters that begin June 29 and August 28, from admission to registering for classes. The Enrollment Day will be held at the Daytona Beach Campus at the Wetherell Center (Bldg. 100), 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach.
“Our Enrollment Day is an opportunity for students to come in on a Saturday and they can visit with all of the enrollment offices," says Karen Sanders, the DSC Director of Admissions. "They can start in admissions, go to assessments if they need to take a placement test, see academic advising, speak with financial aid, register for classes and do everything all in one day at one time."
Financial Aid Counselors will help students complete the federal financial aid application (FAFSA) and help them to finance their college education. Academic Advisors will discuss the various academic programs at DSC such as their more rigorous Quanta-Honors Program.
DSC offers several certificate programs that lead to a 2-year associate of science degree, an associate of arts degree with a DirectConnect transfer to UCF, as well as transfer paths to other universities and 11 baccalaureate degrees. DSC’s Career Pathway Research Guide can match a student’s career goals to a specific program at DSC.
