
Daytona Beach, FL - A 34-year-old Daytona Beach man is sentenced to four decades behind bars and probation for the rest of his life in the death of 31-year-old Jessica Rivera in October of 2017.
Donnie Glenn III repeatedly stabbed Rivera then ran her over with her own vehicle. Rivera's body was found by some juveniles just east of the football fields at Derbyshire Park.

At the time of his arrest, Daytona Beach Police Chief Craig Capri says that Glenn had a long criminal history, including 20 felonies and six convictions.
Glenn pleaded guilty to second-degree murder as part of a deal with prosecutors. Glenn received credit for 639 days time served.
Prosecutors agreed to recommend a sentence in the range of 23 to 47 ½ years for the charge, which is punishable with a term of up to life in prison.
