COVID-19 Testing This Week At Volusia County Fairgrounds

Posted

DeLand, FL - A drive-through COVID-19 testing site is now open at the Volusia County Fairgrounds. It will be open every day this week except Wednesday, from eight a.m. until five p.m. The free drive-through nasal swab testing is for all ages. Pre-registration is preferred at FamilyHealthSource.org or by calling 386-327-6045.

Because the testing is being done at the fairgrounds this week, no COVID-19 testing will take place at the Family Health Source in DeLand on Woodland Boulevard. Per the company website, test results take about 72 hours processing time. Positive results will be notified immediately. To check for your results, you can go the websites of the labs that are processing the tests, LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics.

Other places you can be tested for an active case of COVID-19 are CVS stores. Not all locations are doing the testing. To find the location most convenient for you click here.  These tests are free.

There is also a free testing site in Deltona at the Publix located at 2100 Saxon Boulevard. This is a walk-in only site that is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m., while supplies last.

Anit-body testing is being done at the DeLand Wellness Center located at 122 S. Amelia Avenue. This is a walk-in only location and there are fees associated with this testing. Find out more by visiting the website, delandwellnesscenter.com, or by calling 386-313-3200.
