Ormond Beach, FL - Come next week, Volusia County residents will have two new free COVID-19 testing sites.
Back on Wednesday (May 13th), the City of Daytona Beach announced their plans for a free testing site, which opens this morning at 9 a.m. (May 14th), and continues testing through next week.
Now, Ormond Beach announced that they will offer a free drive-up testing location at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center found off of US-1. Nasal swab tests will be available each day beginning on Monday (May 18th) and running until Wednesday (May 20th) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while supplies last.
Additionally, you can pre-register for Ormond's site. To do so, call 386-274-0500 anytime from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and select the pound sign (#) for coronavirus information. Pre-registering is not required but city officials say that it will get you through the line faster and it is highly encouraged.
Daytona's testing site will begin testing on Tuesday (May 19th) and run until Thursday (May 21st). You can find more information about Daytona's site by clicking here.
