New Smyrna Beach, FL - An argument between roommates ends with Volusia County Sheriff's deputies arresting a 27-year-old New Smyrna Beach woman who is a registered sex offender.
Jessica Belue and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Morgan Chapman, were arguing with their 60-year-old roommate about housekeeping on Wednesday night at their home on Pioneer Trail.
The victim said Belue cut him with a kitchen knife, showing officers what appeared to be a fresh cut on his right hand.
Belue served two years in prison for lewd and lascivious battery on a 15-year-old boy in 2015. She's been arrested twice in Volusia County since she got out.
The knife was found lying on the kitchen counter and was collected as evidence. Belue is being held without bail on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
