Palm Coast, FL - Suspect number four in a 2018 shooting that left the victim disabled is now in the Flagler County Jail. Flagler County Sheriff's deputies arrested 19-year-old Lauryn Darnell yesterday (February 27) as a co-conspirator in the armed robbery that took place on October 16, 2018, at a home on White Star Drive.

Darnell is charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm. She is at the Flagler County Jail being held on a $35,000 bond.

The Major Case Unit was able to identify the shooter, Princess Williams, and three co-conspirators in the ripoff, which included Darnell and two others, 18-year-old Jimaya Baker and 20-year-old Diovion Smith.  Baker and Smith were arrested earlier this month, on February 4.

The disabled victim is 20-year-old Carl Saint-Felix. Investigators say he was shot in the back of the neck by 22-year-old Princess Williams. She shot him while trying
to rob him of his drugs and money during a narcotics deal.

“This goes to show that our investigations are thorough and our detectives are not going to stop until all responsible parties are charged,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “The Major Case Unit has done a great job thoroughly investigating this case and working with PACE to get these offenders in the Green Roof Inn where they belong.”

Williams was arrested the day after the shooting and has been in jail since that time.  During a court date on January 27, 2020, she pleaded guilty to attempted felony murder and armed burglary, both of which could send her to prison for the rest of her life. She also pleaded guilty to armed robbery which is punishable by up to 30 years in prison. Her sentencing is scheduled in July.

Baker is charged with two counts of attempted robbery with a firearm. She's out of jail on a $50,000 bond. Smith is also charged with two counts of attempted robbery with a firearm.  He remains in jail on a $100,000 bond. His bond is higher because of his previous criminal history.
