Guys & Dolls - The multiple Tony Award-winning musical will feature a love story between a mobster and a Salvation Army officer and a high-stakes gambler and a show girl. 7:30 PM Friday, 7:30 PM Saturday and 2:30 PM Sunday at the Athens Theatre, 124 North Florida Ave., DeLand. Tickets are available online here. Adult tickets are $23, senior tickets are $21 and student/child tickets are $10.

The Mousetrap - The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country house cut off by the snow discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in in their midst. 7:30 PM Friday, 7:30 PM Saturday and 2:30 PM Sunday at the Shoestring Theatre, 380 S. Goodwin St., Lake Helen. Tickets are available online here. Ticket prices range from $8 to $18.

The Curious Savage - Set in a sanatorium, this comedy begs the question: are they the crazy ones, or is it the outside world that's nuts? 7:30 PM Friday, 7:30 PM Saturday and 2:30 PM Sunday at the Gateway Venter for the Arts, 880 US-17, DeBary. Jeep Beach - Jeep drivers will tackle an obstacle course while spectators watch the action on the infield and browse loads of vendor and sponsor booths. 9 AM to 5 PM Friday and Saturday at the Daytona International Speedway, 1801 W. International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach. Admission for spectators is $10 per day.

Friday

JW Gilmore and the Blues Authority - Old-style blues, reminiscent of Muddy Waters, Slim Harpo, Howlin Wolf and John Lee Hooker. 8 PM Firday and Saturday at the Bank & Blues Club, 701 Main St., Daytona Beach. Tickets are $15.

Saturday

15th Annual Turtle Day - Celebrating rehabbing turtles and seabirds, environmental exhibits, touch tanks, food and entertainment. 10 AM to 3 PM Saturday at the Marine Science Center, 100 Lighthouse Dr., Ponce Inlet. Admission is free.

8th Annual Halifax Oyster Festival- Party with a Purpose. Lots of food like shrimp, fish and other seafood including 15,000 oysters. Vendors and music by Hayfire, Love Band and C-Posse. 11 AM to 8 PM Saturday at City Island, behind the library, 105 E. Magnolia Ave., Daytona Beach. Admission is $7 and children 10 and under are free.

7th Mutt Strutt - The Halifax Humane Society 5K offers an opportunity to let your pup's paws patter on the Daytona sand. Sign-up is 8 AM Saturday and the race begins 9 AM Saturday at the Daytona Beach Bandshell, 70 Boardwalk, Daytona Beach. The registration fee is $10 per person on site or $5 in advance at HHSMuttStrutt.org. For $25 per person in advance or $30 on site, you can receive a complimentary drink ticket and commemorative T-shirt.
