18-Year-Old Woman Arrested For Armed Robbery For Second Time

Bunnell, FL - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Jimaya Baker is an accomplice for a second time during an armed robbery of a marijuana dealer. The second robbery happened almost a year to the day from the first one.

This time around, FCSO got an arrest warrant for Baker earlier this week, in relation to an incident that happened on October 24, 2019. Baker solicited marijuana from two juveniles while two men waited in the shadows, armed with a handgun. Minutes later, the men stepped forward while Baker grabbed an unknown amount of cash and marijuana.

Baker was arrested on Tuesday (April 7) after a high-risk traffic stop on a vehicle she was a passenger in. She is charged with Principal
to Robbery with a Firearm and Principal to Attempted Robbery with a Firearm and was booked into the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility where she is being held on a $40,000.00 bond.

On October 16, 2018, Baker was involved in an armed robbery of then 19-year-old Carl Saint-Felix. Another person, Princess Williams, pulled the trigger, leaving Saint-Felix permanently disabled.

“Once again, we have an act of violence surrounding a drug deal gone bad,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “Our detectives once again have done an outstanding job. Clearly Jimaya Baker has no remorse for her prior actions. The fact that this second incident occurred nearly a year-to-the-day after her first botched robbery is just a testament to unwillingness to turn her life around. I can only hope that the criminal justice system will hold her accountable and send her away for a long time. I also hope the juvenile drug dealers have learned they are in a dangerous career that could end their life. I hope they get out of the business before it's too late.”
