Washington, DC – Just hours after the inauguration Tuesday of Gov. Ron DeSantis, his predecessor, Rick Scott, was sworn into the U.S. Senate.
Scott appeared at DeSantis’ inauguration ceremony in Tallahassee and then went to Washington, where Vice President Mike Pence administered the oath of office.
Signed my name to the top of the Old Florida Capitol. Serving as the 45th Governor of Florida and having my wife, @FLAnnScott, beside me through it all, has been an incredible honor. I’ll never stop fighting for Florida. pic.twitter.com/ixVQZUdIOV
