Volusia County, FL–Stewards of Children® is an evidence-informed prevention solution that increases knowledge, improves attitudes, and changes child protective behaviors to prevent Child Sexual Abuse. This video based training teaches the “5 Steps to Protect our Children” in order to create safer environments for children.

Two opportunities for training.  Pre-registration is highly encouraged.

10:00am-12:00 pm Tuesday, May 23 | DeLand YMCA Healthy Living Center

6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, May 31 | Port Orange YMCA Healthy Living Center

The cost of the training is $15.00 to cover the book that will be yours to keep.

One person can create change in a community and together, a community can create new cultural norms that nurture children and protect them from child sexual abuse.

If you would like to register you can do so at the DeLand or Port Orange Family YMCA membership desk, online or email Raquel MacDermant at or call 386.425.5210
