Port Orange Library Offers Free Computer Classes

Port Orange, FL-Whether you’re skilled with computers or you’re still looking for the “on” button, the Port Orange Regional Library has a class for you. Registration, which is required, begins May 23.

·       All about email: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 1

·       Genealogy databases: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 6

·       Introduction to e-materials: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 7

·       Introduction to Facebook: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8

·       Introduction to computers, part one: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday,

June 13

·       Twitter: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14

·       Introduction to computers, part two: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 15

·       Windows 10 overview: 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 20

·       Introduction to Zinio: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21

·       Microsoft Word basics: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 22

·       Introduction to iPad: 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 27

·       Introduction to Pinterest: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 28

·       Intro to OverDrive: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 28

·       Advanced computers and internet: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 29

Participants are asked to bring fully charged laptops or other portable

computing devices if they have them. The library has free Wi-Fi

throughout the building.

The library is open seven days a week at 1005 City Center Circle, Port

Orange.
