Port Orange, FL- Adults can pick up new computer skills during free classes at the Port
Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle.
September’s classes include:
· Introduction to computers, part one: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5
· Kindle Fire basics: 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6
· Windows 10 overview: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 7 and 21
· Introduction to computers, part two: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12
· iPad basics: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14
· Mango Language database: 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19
· Introduction to Zinio: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20
· Advanced computers and Internet: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26
· Introduction to Overdrive: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27
· Advanced Microsoft Word: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28
Participants are asked to bring fully charged laptops or other portable
computing devices if they have them. The library has free Wi-Fi
throughout the building.
Only six spots are available for each session. Registration is
required; call 386-322-5152, option 4.
