Port Orange Library Hosts Free Alzheimer's Disease Workshop

Port Orange, FL- Learn about the basics of Alzheimer’s disease during a free workshop

at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, at the Port Orange Regional Library, 1005

City Center Circle, Port Orange.

Damarys Melendez of the Alzheimer’s Association will discuss the

symptoms, risk factors, diagnosis and treatment of the disease, which

causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. She’ll also

explain how diet, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement can

contribute to healthy aging.
