Ormond Beach, FL- Adults can learn computer basics during free classes at the Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St., Ormond Beach.
Library staff will instruct these classes in November:
*Basic Microsoft Word: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3. Practice using this widely used word processing program.
*Basic computers: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10. Explore the basics, including how to turn a computer on, and become familiar with terminology.
*Basic internet: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17. Learn how to surf the internet, use search engines, and avoid scams.
The classes, which are based on Windows 10, will be held in the e-lab. A limited number of library computers will be available for use. Patrons may
bring their own laptops.
