Ormond Beach Hosts Native American Festival At Rockefeller Gardens

Ormond Beach, FL-Come celebrate the culture and traditions of Native Americans as the City of Ormond Beach proudly presents the 29th Native American Festival at Rockefeller Gardens, 26 Riverside Drive, on Saturday and Sunday, January 20 and 21.

The festival will begin with a Grand Entry Opening Ceremony in the Dance Arena.  Over 20 trading booths will be open as well as several demonstrations, including the Native American Village, a craft market, storytelling, wildlife exhibits, encampment shows and new this year is a “Kids Zone” sure to keep the children busy creating memories and keepsake items.

The food court will serve authentic Native American foods as well as an all-American barbeque.  The Native American Village will host several alligators and reptile shows throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, January 20, the Festival begins at 10:00 a.m. and closes at 6:00 p.m.  The Grand Entry will be at 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.   Sunday hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the Grand Entry at 1:00 p.m.

Daily admission is $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for Seniors (50+) and $4.00 for children ages 4-11.  For more information, please contact The Casements at 386-676-3216.
