Daytona Beach, FL-Teens can meet the Daytona Beach Regional Library’s new Launch Pad librarian, Erica Davis, during the next meeting of the Teen Tech Club at
2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, in the Launch Pad.
They can discuss their craft and tech ideas with Davis, create new
worlds with Minecraft, decorate a tile with alcohol ink, and try out
some small circuits called LittleBits.
The Launch Pad is the library’s makerspace and high-tech zone, where
people can embark on a new hobby or launch an education, career or
business. Teens use it to explore opportunities in the science,
technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.

The library is open seven days a week at 105 E. Magnolia Ave., Daytona
Beach. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through
Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
