Medicare 101 Presented By Daytona Beach Regional Library

Daytona Beach, FL- If you’re turning 65 within the next three months, Priscilla Davis

has some important information to share with you. The SHINE counselor

will explain what is covered under Medicare, how individual parts differ

from Medicare Advantage, and how to avoid potential financial penalties

if you opt in at a future date.

The free program will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at the

Daytona Beach Regional Library at City Island, 105 E. Magnolia Ave.

SHINE stands for Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders. Its mission

is to provide free, unbiased health insurance counseling through a

dedicated network of volunteers, empowering Florida seniors to make

informed health care choices.

Reservations are not required for the program, which is sponsored by

the Friends of the Daytona Beach Library. For more information, contact

The library is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday
