Ormond Beach, FL– Help the young artist in your household get into the holiday spirit with the Ormond Memorial Art Museum’s Holiday Cottage project coming up Saturday, Dec. 10.
Children between 6 and 12 will be painting and decorating a 3-D cardboard cottage with glittery sparkles and holiday flair.  Instructor Linda King will help the young artists add their own personal and original touches to make it their own.
The cottage is on a 12 by 12 inch yard and all supplies are provided.  A non-refundable payment of $22 for museum members and $25 for soon-to-be- members is required.
Drop your artist off at 10 a.m. at the museum, 78 E. Granada Blvd., for a morning of fun.  Pickup is at noon.  Wear painting clothes in case there’s a spill.
For some youngsters who have taken previous holiday cottage classes, the new project could be the start of a holiday village.  You can register online at  Call 386 676-3347 for more information.
