Halifax Humane Society Needs Holiday Foster Parents For Dogs

Posted
Daytona Beach, FL – Due to the influx of new arrivals at the Halifax Humane Society, HHS is putting out a call for all potential adopters and foster parents to act now since our center is at capacity. “HHS recently took in 39 dogs from St. Croix which was devastated by Hurricane Maria (many of which are puppies) and now we have had a recent increase in local owner surrenders putting us at our capacity level”, said Barry KuKes, Community Outreach Director. “Please do not surrender your pets. There are many training programs available to help break a pet’s bad habits or mischievous behavior. Don’t give up so easily. A naughty dog today can be a great dog tomorrow with the right amount of love and caring.”  HHS is using their adoption trailer to house many of the St. Croix puppies. The trailer will be parked in front of the building and puppies are available for immediate adoption. Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2017
