Halifax Historical Museum Hosts Surf Social Fundraiser

Daytona Beach, FL-Stylemasters, a brilliantly filmed surfing movie, is the main attraction at the 7th Annual Surf Social Fundraiser, Saturday, August 27th, 2016,  at 5:30 p.m. at the Halifax Historical Society Museum and it's all about Hawaiian Style .The film chronicles the short board revolution on Oahu's North Shore in the late 70s and features Buttons Kaluhiokalani, among other legendary surfers. The photography and the musical score are outstanding. If you love surfing and surfing films, this is one you don't want to miss. The evening is definitely Hawaiian, so dress in your best Hawaiian Style.

The 7th Annual Surf Social Hawaiian Style Fundraiser is open to the public and HHS members alike. The event is known for selling out quickly, so reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the museum at 386-255-6976 or e-mailing your reservations to mail@halifaxhistorical.org. (Please put 7th Surf Social in the subject line). E-mails and/or phone, include your name and phone number. Admission at the door is $18 for non-members. HHS members and advance ticket sales pay $15. Children 15 years and younger are $5. Along with the movie, tickets include wine, beer, cold drinks, good food, door prizes and an awesome raffle.

The Halifax Historical Society Museum is located at 252 South Beach Street, Daytona Beach, Florida, between Magnolia and Orange Avenues. Plenty of parking is available off of Magnolia Avenue behind the businesses on Beach Street, with walk ways through to Beach Street and the museum.
