Flagler County, FL-The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Flagler Beach Police Department, Bunnell Police Department and Flagler Sheriff’s Police Athletic League will host National Night Out on Tuesday, October 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Veterans Park in Flagler Beach.
“This is an opportunity for the community and law enforcement to join together, get to know one another, and build a safer community,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “It will be a great family event.”
Bring the kids out for some family fun, Halloween safety tips, and meet local law enforcement and some great Flagler County Youth organizations. Flagler County Sheriff’s Office will have members from our SWAT, Motors Unit, Marine Unit, K-9 Unit, Seniors versus Crime, STAR, COP volunteers, and Mobile Command. We also want to thank the Palm Coast Target for their partnership in this event. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Find out more at https://natw.org. Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2017
