Flagler County Sheriff’s Department To Host Law Enforcement Memorial

Flagler County, FL-The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) will host a Law Enforcement Memorial and Candlelight Vigil on Monday, May 14th at 7:45 PM. The ceremony honors all law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty with a memorial walk lit by blue candlelight that starts at Flagler Courthouse and ends at the Sheriff’s Operations Center in Bunnell. Once the participants all arrive at the Operations Center, the Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony begins.

“Our Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony honors all law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “We will always remember those who lost their lives by serving and protecting members of their community.”

Anyone wishing to participate in the candlelight walk should meet at the Flagler County Courthouse by no later than 7:45 PM as the walk to the Sheriff’s Operations Center will begin promptly at 8 PM.
