FL Hospitals Host Orthopedic Seminars

Volusia & Flagler County, FL – In August, the Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties will host a series of lectures featuring orthopedic surgeons. These seminars will focus on various orthopedic conditions and the impact they can have on a healthy lifestyle.

  • On Aug. 16 at 5:30 p.m., orthopedic surgeon Dr. Brandon Steen will discuss innovations in shoulder replacements at Florida Hospital DeLand, 701 W. Plymouth Ave., Classrooms A, B & C, DeLand.
  • On Aug. 24, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Brian Leung will discuss common hand and upper extremity conditions at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Summit Building, 1061 Medical Center Drive, Suite 211 and 213, Orange City. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation begins at noon.
  • On Aug. 24 at 6 p.m., orthopedic surgeon Dr. Brian Hatten will discuss hip replacements at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Medical Office Building, 305 Memorial Medical Pkwy., Classrooms A and B, Daytona Beach.
  • On Aug. 29 at 6 p.m., orthopedic surgeon Dr. Charles Kollmer will discuss knee replacements at the Florida Hospital Health Park, 125 Florida Memorial Pkwy., New Smyrna Beach.
