Daytona Beach, FL – To ensure that everyone in the Central Florida community has the opportunity to enjoy the holidays, Daytona International Speedway is encouraging the donation of canned food items in exchange for a free 30-minute Speedway Tour. From Nov. 16 – Dec. 4, guests who donate four or more canned goods at the ticket office windows in the Daytona International Speedway Ticket and Tours Building will receive a voucher for a free 30-minute Speedway Tour (limit one tour voucher per donor). In addition, on Monday, Dec. 4, from 6-9 a.m. and noon to 12:30 p.m., WESH 2, the Orlando NBC television affiliate, will broadcast live at the “World Center of Racing” to kick off their 32nd annual “Share Your Christmas” food drive. All non-perishable food gathered from the food drive will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank who provides food and basic-need items to more than 500 grassroots organizations in Central Florida. For fans participating in the track tour promotion, the 30-minute Speedway Tour runs daily at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. and allows fans to view the garage area, pit road, and the world-famous 31-degree high banks. The tour also stops at Gatorade Victory Lane (track activities permitting), the 2017 DAYTONA 500 championship car display and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.
