Daytona Beach, FL- If you thought the only place to see dinosaurs was on the big screen, then you are in for a treat as Jurassic Quest comes for the first time
to Volusia County’s Ocean Center Aug. 5-7.
Jurassic Quest brings a new dinosaur adventure for the entire family.
It’s the largest exhibit of life-size, moving, museum-quality
dinosaurs in North America.
The main dinosaur exhibit features realistic, life-size animatronic
dinosaurs and more than 50 life-size dinosaurs. Visitors can interact
with the huge creatures, learn about them and even ride a few. The
adventure features realistic scenes, enormous dinosaurs, cute baby
dinosaurs and lots of activities for kids of all ages. Activities
include huge T-rex and triceratops fossil digs where young
paleontologists can uncover long-hidden dinosaur bones, face painting,
dinosaur crafts, and the Dino Bounce area with several dinosaur-theme
inflatable mazes.
Admission starts at $15 for children, $25 for children's VIP admission,
$21 for adults and $19 for seniors. Children under 2 are free. Law
enforcement, 911 operators, military personnel and their families save
$2 each ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the door to avoid online
fees, but online tickets avoid the ticket line at the door and guarantee
access in the event of a sellout.
Exhibit hours are from 3 to 8 p.m. Aug. 5, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 6, and
9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 7.
