DeLand, FL- The DeLand Regional Library will celebrate film, theater and adventure
during the second annual Family Fan Fest from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July
30.
Phantasmagoria, a steampunk storytelling group from Orlando, will
present “The Official Book of Frightening Little Children (or simply
just amusing them) – Tales of Silly, Witty, Little Whimsies.” Other
activities will include a drama workshop, face painting and storytime.
Attendees may take part in a cosplay contest by dressing as their
favorite superhero or movie or book character. Prizes will be given for
the best costumes in four age groups.
The free event is sponsored by the Friends of the DeLand Library. For
