Daytona Beach, FL- The Daytona Beach Counseling Center is offering FREE weekly support groups with an emphasis on concerns, struggles and “here and now” events that often challenge our Combat Veterans and their Families. There are 2 separate groups meeting at the same time and location, one for veterans and one for family members of combat veterans. They are both held every Thursday from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Daytona Beach Counseling Center office, 215 S. Palmetto Ave., Daytona Beach.
The groups are overseen by Veteran David Shoots, LCSW with the assistance of Ellan Mayfield and are open to those from all branches of the military. The groups will provide fellowship, a place to share information on adjusting into society, and help build a network of support for each other.
