DeBary, FL-Libraries and early literacy go hand-in-hand at the DeBary Public
Library, 200 N. Charles R. Beall Blvd., which will resume children’s
programs in September.
Toddlers and preschoolers can take part in Little Readers Storytime at
10 a.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 6. Tiny Tinkers, which will follow at
10:30 a.m., will allow little tinkers to build, use manipulatives, and
participate in arts and crafts.
Wiggle, Giggle, Groove – a music and movement program for
preschoolers and their caregivers – will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Thursdays beginning Sept. 7.
For children in kindergarten through fifth grade, Imagination Station
will be at 2:15 p.m. Wednesdays starting Sept. 6. Children will use
Legos and other building materials and engage in a special project each
week. The projects will include creating art, constructing, measuring
for recipes, and conducting an experiment.
