"Archaeology Works: Fishing Works" Program Hosted In Ormond Beach

Ormond Beach, FL- On Saturday, January 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the Environmental Discovery Center (EDC), located at 601 Division Avenue, will host the “Archaeology Works: Fishing” program by the University of West Florida.

Archaeologists can learn about prehistoric fishing through artifact like fish hooks and net gages as well as finding the fish remains themselves. Come explore various artifacts and fishing techniques through hands-on activities.
