DeLand, FL — Beginning Monday, March 19, Volusia County Schools will add Osteen Elementary 500 Doyle Road, Osteen, and Spruce Creek Elementary, 642 Taylor Road, Port Orange, to the Afterschool Nutrition Program, a subcomponent of the Child Care Food Program.
This program is designed primarily to provide nutritious suppers to children in afterschool programs. Suppers will be available at no separate charge to children enrolled in an afterschool enrichment program at Osteen Elementary and Spruce Creek Elementary, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
