9th Annual Empty Bowls Event To Benefit Halifax Urban Ministries

Daytona Beach, FL – Halifax Urban Ministries, an organization that helps the local homeless and poor in our community, will be hosting their 9th annual Empty Bowls event on Saturday, January 21st.

This event will feature a day of fun, food, music, and a silent auction to benefit the organization.  From 11 AM to 2 PM participants will enjoy local soup, salad, and baked goods donated by local restaurants as well as a keepsake ceramic bowl made by Volusia County Students. The auction starts at 10:30 AM.

The event will be held at The BCU Center for Civic Engagement, at 740 International Speedway Blvd. Daytona Beach.
